The second coin from the series features a Whooping crane and, as with every coin released from the collection, features a cut out of the animal from the coin in a symbolic gesture to what could be if the animal were extinct. Featuring the second animal in the collection; a whooping crane. On the obverse is Susanna Blunt's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the effigy is placed to the left of a large cut out of the Whooping crane.
Appearing on the reverse is the natural habitat of the Canadian whooping crane in a symbolic gesture the crane has been cut-out creating a hole representing the possibility of what life would look like without these birds. In original Mint condition and packaging! This silver coin is presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded clamshell with a black beauty box and has maintained the original Mint luster.
