Complete Set (6) 1 oz Silver Canada 2023 2025 W Mint Mark Coins Winnipeg RCM

First Ever Numismatic Pure Silver. Coins Produced by the Royal Canadian Mint. Significance of this coin series and the Winnipeg Mint.

Since its inception, the Winnipeg Mint has focused its efforts on circulation coins, not numismatic coins. This is the first-ever, pure silver numismatic series struck at the Royal Canadian Mint in Winnipeg, and not by RCM in Ottawa, Ontario. Prior to this, Canada has not used a mint mark on their coins like the USA and other countries, and that is why the "W" mint mark makes this 6-coin set even more significant and special. Coin 1: Polar Bear (the Toonie).

Coin 2: Loon (the Loonie). Coin 3: Canadian Coat of Arms. Issued by: The Royal Canadian Mint (Winnipeg, Manitoba).

Composition: 99.99% Pure Silver. Finish: Proof - NOTE: the field's burnished appearance is the artistic result of angled lines which were inspired by the Winnipeg Mint's pyramid-shaped building.

Reverse: Classic images of normal Canadian circulation coins. Coins 1 & 2: Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Coins 3 - 6: King Charles III. Packaging: All coins are encapsulated and placed snugly in the original Royal Canadian Mint Wood Display box.

An outer black box protects the wood box. All coins have their own individual COA.
