Now in its third year, this 2022 dated Canadian Peace Dollar is especially remarkable for its state-of-the-art technology that makes use of literally hundreds of micro-engineered, precision-engraved, sub-millimeter-scale surfaces struck into its fields to provide a stunning "pulsating" effect when the coin is rotated.
Each coin comes packaged in a black clamshell box along with a certificate of authenticity. Limited mintage of 5,000 coins. Obverse: The obverse features a lasered (non-pulsating) magnified view of the reverse's field pattern behind the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Lady Peace is depicted in profile with her hair crowned in a wreath of maple leaves and olive branches. She is flanked by her name, "PAX" (the Latin word for "Peace"), and the year "2022", while Canada's national motto, "A MARI USQUE AD MARE" ("From sea to sea") appears overhead.
