Mintage is limited to 5,000 coins. Obverse: The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II framed by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II, " "CANADA, " D. " The coin's edge is incuse lettered with "PAX (Peace in Latin).Reverse: "A MARI USQUE AD MARE, " meaning "From Sea to Sea, " (national motto of Canada) arcs above the female personification of Peace, a young woman wearing a crown of maple leaves and olive branches (emblems of order and peace). Inscribed "PAX" and "2021, " with the initials "ST" crediting sculptor Susan Taylor, retired RCM senior engraver, with the design.
