The New York Bank Hoard. The first release of the Royal Canadian Mint's rose gold gilded 2018 Big Coin series features the Voyageur Silver Dollar. This fantastic commemorative tribute to the 1935 Voyageur design measures 65.25 mm in diameter, struck from 5 Troy oz. 9999 fine silver, with a mintage limit of just 1,500 coins.

Voyageur Silver Dollar Design created by Emanuel Hahn. The reverse features the 1935 Voyageur image, depicting the iconic scene of a European voyageur and a man of the First Nations paddling a canoe together to deliver a bundle of furs.

The image includes the Northern Lights in the background, above a swaying gilded pine tree, along with the inscriptions "CANADA, " "DOLLAR" and 2018. The gilded likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, sculpted by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt adorns the obverse. Inscriptions include "ELIZABETH II" and D.
