This coin comes in its own ROYAL CANADIAN MINT custom hardwood case with brass hardware and has quadrant and piano hinges. It's lined with black felt, with the R. M logo on the inside lid and ON the outside. The box has an insert to hold a 2oz coin, and (when you take that insert out) underneath is space for either 2 pcgs, or 1 NGC slabbed coins!
I've put an outside box, depicting a loon, over the wood case, to keep it from getting scratched in transit. This, very sharp looking box is a wonderful way to display your new found treasure. The box has a hidden magnetic system that keeps the box shut.
The slab has a few hairlines on the reverse, but thats its job! (protect the COIN) So, no worries. Not very many of these were ever minted, and of those, not many made the cut, at NGC. We here at aceshi78 love this coin.
