NGC PF70 UCAM - First Day of Issue. Who doesn't love to see a Cardinal in their backyard? If you see one, you're bound to see its mate nearby! This is the first in the Colorful Songbirds Collection from the Royal Canadian Mint in 2015.
These are the 1/2 Oz. 9999 Fine Silver variety where there was a Mintage of 15,000 coins. Earlier, in 2008, the Mint had a similar program where they had a. 25 version of the Northern Cardinal, and again in 2023 where they had a 1 Oz was struck, bringing this "wildly" popular species back again one more time to popular acclaim. This 2015 Northern Cardinal has been graded by NGC as a perfect PF70 Ultra Cameo with the highly sought after, First Day of Issue pedigree.
