(2) Proof Silver Canada Coins - 2005 - Alberta & Saskatchewan Centennial OPG

This is a set 2 Royal Canadian Mint proof silver coins issued in 2005 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of both Alberta and Saskatchewan joining the Canadian Confederation. 1905 is when Alberta and Saskatchewan officially became provinces of Canada. They are both in untouched, excellent condition. The Alberta coin shows the famous Rocky Mountains in the background. The foreground shows Alberta's 3 main industries, oil, cattle and wheat.

The flower at the bottom of the coin shows Alberta's provincial flower, the Wild Alberta Rose. The Saskatchewan coin shows a stylized prairie landscape, a grain silo with a train track and the provincial bird of Saskatchewan, the Western Meadowlark. Composition: 99.99% Pure Silver. Weight: 25.18 grams which equates to. 8096 Troy oz for each coin.

Dates: Dual dates 1905 and 2005. We're not dealers, nor graders; just plain old coin collectors.
